About Veil of VisionsIngela Lordsdotter, the creative genius behind Veil of Visions, is from Umeå, North Sweden and she came to London to fulfil her dream - to make her unique hand-crafted Victorian romantic gothic designed collars, cuffs, masks and hats. Ingela has designed and hand-crafted all manner of things since her childhood and has used numerous different techniques in her work. She is a superb seamstress. Ingela is at her most creative when she is designing and sewing her unique Victorian romantic gothic hand-crafted collars, cuffs, masks and hats. Ingela uses velvet, satin, and PVC as her main materials and then embroiders her designs with exquisite detail with contrasting cottons often using metallic threads to great effect. Many of her Victorian romantic gothic designs incorporate stones, beads and cameos into them. Veil of Visions' Victorian romantic gothic collars, cuffs, masks and hats are truly distinctive, hand-crafted sought-after little works of art. |
